Job Description

Provide warm welcome to guests upon arrival and engage guests through conversation

Read table to provide a unique, personalized experience to guests through personal connections and genuine interactions with the ability to remain professional
-
Effectively present food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner
-
Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
-
Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
-
Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
-
Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
-
Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service, and take corrective action as needed
-
Collect and accurately process guest payments by handling money, making necessary changes, and processing credit card transactions

Follow company standards and policies
-
Other duties assigned by supervisor

Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
Requirements

Basic mathematical skills and the ability to handle money accurately

Certification to serve alcohol or ability to obtain certification required

Valid Food Worker Card or ability to obtain card required

Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience

Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)

Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor

Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
